The concept of L’Effet Papillon was born over time and the professional experiences of its founder, Julie Bordier. After 8 years of management in the hotel and catering industry, Julie had the opportunity to manage a Geneva foundation helping disadvantaged children and young women in India for 5 years.

After this experience and being an entrepreneur at heart, she wanted to create an activity combining sharing and pleasure with the aim of mutual aid and solidarity. This concept, at the crossroads of her two professional experiences, therefore materialized with L’Effet Papillon in 2017.

In September 2020, Julie joined forces with Guillaume Cazenave to further develop the activity and take L’Effet Papillon to new horizons. His experience as a business leader and team manager are undeniable assets. Having worked in numerous palaces in Geneva and abroad experimenting with different services such as the kitchen, the bar or banquets, Guillaume’s knowledge perfectly complements Julie’s and this duo has already brought many successes to L’Effet Papillon.
